Firenze (Italy) – September 23th-25th, 2024
After enthusiastic responses to the past seven editions held in Mie, Japan (2005), Berlin, Germany (2008), Cincinnati, USA (2010), Nagoya, Japan (2013), Stockholm, Sweden (2015), Cincinnati, USA (2017) and Tokyo, Japan (2022), the 8th edition of the International Conference on Jets, Wakes and Separated Flows – ICJWSF will take place in Florence (Italy), September 23th-25th 2024. The conference is co-organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence.
The focus of this conference will be on the latest advances in the development of fluid dynamics, flow control, and complex flow measurement techniques, and the exchange of new information between scientists and engineers working in universities, industry, and other fields. This conference aims to provide an international forum for the presentation, exchange of ideas, and creation of knowledge on recent advances in various aspects of the theories, analyses, and applications of flow control techniques in complex fluid flow systems. It will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, research institutes, and industry to exchange experiences, disseminate up-to-date information, and explore new opportunities in this field; in particular, through the conference, it will expose young or new researchers to the state of the art in the field: participation of PhD students is warmly solicited
